Irai Safari Retreat is located approximately 100 meters away from the Irai lake and minutes away from the fantastic Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. On the other side of the retreat is the tribal village Bhamdeli, which gives a true feel of the rural Indian life mixed with an authentic jungle atmosphere.
Nagpur airport is the closest (140 -250 km depending on the gate by which one enters the park) and has several daily flights from Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, New Delhi and Hyderabad.
Good highways connect Tadoba to Nagpur, Hyderabad, Amravati, Yevatmal. Often tourists prefer to self-drive from Pune, Bangalore, Kolkata and Mumbai too. The closest being Hyderabad. ( 6-7 hrs drive ).
Nagpur’s central location facilitates rail travel to a great extent as most of the trains going from the North to the South and from the East to the West of India all make a stop in Nagpur. The other railway station that is closest to Tadoba National Park is Chandrapur which is only an hours drive from Iria Safari Retreat.
